Entitled Soleils Martiens (Martian suns), the artist explores the terra incognita that is outer space. Working with high powered technologies of light and sculptures, her artworks are a peek into the depth of the astral sky. Known for her deep astrophysic observations, Felicie’s art is of a different dimension and frame, where light and time are in a space beyond us.
Pierre Bonnefille and aurèce vettier
Gilles&Boissier, Paris 15 Dec 2021 - 15 Feb 2022 Gilles&Boissier and the Spaceless Gallery wanted to dedicate time to show and promote French artists who propose works in which materiality and poetry are omnipresent.
For this time, the Spaceless Gallery took over the Boutique Apartment to present the work of Pierre Bonnefille, “maître d’art” and painter, alongside a selection of poetic works by aurèce vettier. This artist/poet explores and merges the very manual practice and the computer aspect by realizing encrypted poems engraved on plaster and whose secret is held by the artificial intelligence of his "botanist writings". In contrast to this exploration of language, Pierre explores matter and materials. Read more -

RUAN HOFFMANN
Boon_Room, Paris 8 Sep 2021 - 3 Jan 2022 Halfway between art and design, ceramist Ruan Hoffmann is a distinct artist that draws his intentions in and within the plates that he sculpts. After a successful show in Los Angeles this summer, the Spaceless Gallery is excited to present another selection of works by Ruan in a completely different space and context, right in the heart of Paris.
For the very first time, Ruan’s ceramic wonders will be showcased in the renowned BOON space founded by Kristofer Kongshaug where art, design and fashion meet. Showcasing sixty unique porcelain plates, the exhibition will unveil a tale of form, function and expression. What is striking in Ruan’s work, is his use of words and imagery that draws you to the mind of the artist, where he unapologetically expresses the nuances of life and symbolic hard truths with humor and style. Yet, Ruan does not aim to dictate a thought but rather triggers reflections and interpretations. Akin to fortune-telling teacups, Ruan’s colorfully glazed plates will inspire, challenge and resonate with one and all.
Curated especially for BOON Paris, the show will take place from September and extend until December 2022. The selection of works will evolve throughout the exhibition to unveil surprises.

IN(SIGHT)
Leclaireur Hérold, Paris 21 May - 10 Nov 2021 The Spaceless Gallery is pleased to introduce the photographic work of the American artist Lara Porzak & French painter Pierre Bonnefille at LECLAIREUR Hérold; old stables, transformed into a magnificent location designed by Armand and Martine Hadida. Béatrice Masi, curator, and founder of the Spaceless Gallery conceived this collaboration to shed new light on the work of Lara, an artist halfway between ancient and modern, who reveals her subjects with a subtle balance between shadow and light. By choosing this place of character, the Spaceless gallery underlines the importance of a dialogue between the work and the place that welcomes it and highlights the synergy that emerges from the association of two parallel worlds.
Lara Porzak's photographic work is carried out using mid 19th century photographic processes. Exploring the equivocality of form, Lara captures scenes from nature with her eye of a romantic photojournalist. More than an automatic gesture, Lara masters the nuance between taking and making the photograph. Like a craftsman, she designs and produces her photographs by transposing the impression into a materialized expression. Among the 28 works selected for this collaborative exhibition, three of them stand out. Imposing and powerful, these photographs bring the viewer back to the place where Lara captured this moment, while the smallest clichés, scattered around this place to intrigue the viewer and intensify his curiosity, intervene like memories. That way they reflect the charm of the place.
Alongside the works of Lara Porzak are three works by French painter Pierre Bonnefille. Using refined powders to produce his pictorial compositions, it is the light that surrounds them that reveals the material and creates an illusion specific to each of the spaces in which they are exhibited. Both artists find their inspiration in nature. Lara uses photography to extract an impression while Pierre expresses the reflections of light on the water in a more abstract way.
For this collaboration, the Spaceless Gallery wanted to establish a multidimensional dialogue between the photographic work of Lara, the pictorial art of Pierre within the intimate atmosphere of LECLAIREUR. It is an experience in which art, fashion and design blend subtly to offer visitors an immersion, a suspended moment in time. Read more -

WAVE FRAGMENTS
Villiers-sur-Mer, France 7 Dec 2019 - 12 Jan 2020 The clear and salted water draws its motion on the wet sand. The waves from the tide progress on the shore before slipping back to the open sea. Simple overlaying lines remain on the beach, as marks of elapsing time.
For the Villa d’Eaux and curated by The Spaceless Gallery, Noémie Lacroix painted just like the waves on the shore, two vertical fragments of flowing silk. Soaked by the sea colours and suspended in the patio of this intimate shelter, they are an invitation to tranquility. Peaceful and poetic, they have been designed with the same spirit as their surroundings, a building that has remained unchanged since 1913: out of time.

SPACE(LESS)
Collective exhibition, Paris 8 Oct - 10 Nov 2019 The voïd, French Designer and Architect Charlotte Perriand used to say, contains everything, because it represents the ability to move, the potentiality of motion. But, let's imagine an infinite space, without any point of reference. In such a space, movement would be impossible, because there would be nothing to measure the travelled distance. Thus for this proposition to be true, the voïd must at least contain, a milestone/marker.
Situated in its midst, this exhibition “Space (less)” borrows this frame of reference, questioning the existence and acknowledgment of space and how it's understood and perceived in society. What is space and how do we know define or demarcate it? Interpreted differently by our artists, the works of Felicie d’Estienne d’Orves and Pandora Mond take on the mysteries of cosmic space and light. In contrast, the work of Lara Porzak plunges the viewer into a timeless universe where only preserved memories services as a marker of existence. At the same time, the immersive exhibitions of Jayde Cardinalli and Noémie Lacroix provides a sensory perspective, alongside Hugh Findletar, whose works offer a poetic response to the contradictory yet complementary duality of what it means for a cup, a vessel, a demarcated space to be half full. GARDENS OF THE MIND
Collective exhibition, Seine-et-Marne, France 6 - 9 Jun 2019 As the pace of life quickens and society becomes absorbed into an unyielding cycle of result-oriented tasks and purpose, our minds become an overwhelming reprise of knowledge and thoughts. The search for a form of repose undoubtedly becomes a unanimous quest as we look both outward to the physical world and inward into our consciousness. Read more
