Veronese: Daydream
The Spaceless Gallery presents a solo exhibition of works by Atlanta-based artist Kristen Giorgi at Veronese’s Paris showroom.
Marking the unveiling of Veronese’s new exhibition design and latest collection, the works sit in conversation with Veronese’s lighting, material, and craftsmanship. At the heart of the presentation is ORSO, a new lighting collection designed by Charlotte Biltgen in collaboration with Veronese’s design studio and master glassmakers in Murano. Characterized by soft, sculptural forms, the collection introduces an organic feel while retaining the precision and exceptional craftsmanship that defines Veronese.
Our selection of artworks was conceived in response to this setting and the scenography this year inspired by the sky, providing a natural setting for Giorgi’s paintings, where suns, moons, and horizons recur throughout her work. Working in layers of acrylic and oil on linen, she draws from personal experience and intuition, evoking the changing character of the sky while exploring cycles, memory, and emotion.
The collaboration reflects a shared appreciation for craftsmanship and contemporary art, bringing together the work of artists, designers, and artisans within the Parisian showroom.
