More* at Bergdorf Goodman: Bergdorf Goodman, New York

The Spaceless Gallery presents a new exhibition at Bergdorf Goodman in September 2023, More* by the Spaceless Gallery, featuring a selection of unique artworks and design pieces from a group of exceptional international artists that include Hugh Findletar, Ruan Hoffmann, Alice Gavalet, Pierre Bonnefille, Jayde Cardinalli, Lucian Moriyama, Olga Sabko and Renée Demsey.

A one-of-a-kind collaboration between the famed department store and the Spaceless Gallery, the exhibition marks the very first initiative of the gallery in the United States, featuring rarely seen artworks from both new and seasoned artists, in mediums such as glass, canvas, ceramics and plaster. The show also highlights a series of custom commissioned pieces by Hugh Findletar that pay homage to iconic New York women from this time and the past.

I also hope that through this exhibition, visitors will get excited to see their department store under a new eye," comments Béatrice Masi, founder of the Spaceless Gallery. "My aim is to applaud and celebrate New York elegance, charisma and flamboyance emulated through the scenography and choice of artists." 

In Bergdorf's famed Seventh Floor, visitors will be transported into a unique environment with bold artworks from artists and designers whose forms of expression explode from within, with colours, textures, patterns and words that underline their individual innermost thoughts and feelings, as they proudly proclaim to the world without fear of judgement.

The exhibition aims to encourage and put forth the opinion that bold artworks can transform and impact the spaces they occupy, with very little or no external support, keeping the full integrity of the works while creating a distinctive and singular environment.
