The Watermill Center

The Spaceless Gallery is pleased to participate in the inaugural U.S. edition of NOMAD, taking place at The Watermill Center, the visionary arts institution founded by Robert Wilson in Water Mill, New York. Marking NOMAD's first East Coast edition, the fair brings together international galleries presenting collectible design and contemporary art within a site dedicated to experimentation, performance, and cross-disciplinary creation.
Our presentation brings together a curated selection of works by Sophie Kitching, aurèce vettier, Gabriel Sobin, Lara Porzak, Antoine Wagner, Thomas Engelhart, Renée Demsey, Hugh Findletar, Olga Sabko, and Grant Levy-Lucero.
Set within the unique context of The Watermill Center, the presentation explores the relationship between material, memory, and environment. Across painting, sculpture, ceramic, glass, photography, and collectible design, the works form a conversation between the intimate and the architectural.
Together, these artists reflect the gallery's interest in works that live beyond the traditional white cube: pieces that engage with space, atmosphere, and the emotional character of an interior. In the spirit of NOMAD's site-specific format, the presentation approaches art and design as an immersive language, one shaped by place, presence, and sensory experience.
