Biography

Marianne Eriksen Scott-Hansen, a Copenhagen-based artist, is renowned for her extraordinary talent in crafting flower bouquets from tissue paper on an impressive scale. Formerly a fashion and jewelry designer with extensive experience running her own company and freelancing, Marianne ultimately found her true calling in the art of paper sculpture.

 

Driven by a deep-seated passion for working with humble materials, Marianne eschews templates and employs only scissors to meticulously create her intricate paper sculptures. Her pioneering approach to paper cutting revitalizes a long-standing Danish tradition, infusing it with new techniques and innovative ideas.

 

Marianne's work has garnered international acclaim, attracting a distinguished clientele including iconic brands such as Dior, Disney x Pandora, Elie Saab, Fendi, Hermès, Karl Lagerfeld, Lancôme, L'Oréal, M.A.C. Cosmetics, Max Factor, Narciso Rodriguez, and Viktor & Rolf.
