A work that comes from reflecting on the notion of how, as humans, our inner emotional states are constantly subject to change.
She visits emotions through experiential pro-
cessing, and in this way, these visits be-
come ritualistic in nature. Through repeti-
tive pilgramages through the space of an
emotion, the eomotion becomes familiar,
a new inner spatial identity emerges. Sad-
ness, for example, can be its own chapel
or structure. The painting is of a space
which builds itself, an emotional land-
scape, forever shapeshifting and evolving,
adding to itself new doorways, pathways,
and cooridoors as nuanced experience
lends new perspective.
An abstracted architectural study through
color and form, denoting aspects of our
psyche as an interior space. Spiritual architecture.
