“State” is an intimate series of works that functions as a visual diary – a record of emotional states, passing moods, internal tensions, and external stimuli. It’s a kind of notebook in which I capture what is present – both what emerges subconsciously and what shapes my everyday reality.
Each canvas responds to a current state – not only psychological, but existential. I observe myself in relation to my surroundings, noting subtle shifts in perception, affect, and the traces reality leaves within me. Gesture, moment, and the physicality of painting are central to this series – as a direct record of being here and now. I continue to work with this cycle from 2018.
