Bergdorf Goodman, the iconic retailer, has announced the highly-anticipated return of their Spaceless Gallery, a contemporary fine art organization. The new exhibition will be open from September 3rd to October 18th and will feature a mix of established and up-and-coming artistic talent with a curatorial focus on color and texture.
“Following an exceptional inaugural exhibition, we’re thrilled to welcome the Spaceless Gallery back to Bergdorf Goodman. The works within this new exhibition are perfectly suited for our customers and celebrate the revelry that comes with artistic expression,” shared Andrew Mandell, Divisional Merchandise Manager of Decorative Home and Jewelry for Bergdorf Goodman.
The exhibition features a stunning collection of vibrant paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and photography. Each piece has been thoughtfully chosen to captivate the viewer with its dynamic use of color and texture. The space is curated to celebrate bold colors and each artist’s unique perspective, aiming to evoke a sense of joy and curiosity. The participating artists work in various mediums, including Aleksandra Szewczuk, David Matthew King, Francois Bauer, Grant Levy Lucero, Hugh Findletar, Jefferson Hayman, Lara Porzak, and more. All of the displayed works are available for immediate purchase. The gallery will be located on the seventh floor of the department store and will also be showcased in two main windows on 58th and 5th Avenue.
“My aim is to applaud and celebrate Bergdorf Goodman’s iconic elegance. By showcasing talented artists from France and the United States, we capture the store’s vibrant spirit and energy. This exhibition is designed to inspire and enhance every home,” says Béatrice Masi, founder of the Spaceless Gallery.
