Gaspard Fleury-Dugy

Biography

Gaspard Fleury-Dugy is a French artist whose practice moves between textile, sculpture, and performance. Trained in fashion design and a practicing trapeze artist, he brings an understanding of the body, movement, and material construction to his sculptural works.

His Soft Objects are created through a process of digital knitting, transforming textile into three-dimensional forms that challenge its conventional association with softness and flexibility. Structured through pattern, tension, and repetition, the works expand outward into architectural and organic silhouettes, their vivid colors and graphic surfaces emphasizing both volume and movement.

Drawing on his experience across fashion, craft, and performance, Fleury-Dugy approaches textile as a sculptural medium. His works occupy a space between object and body, combining the precision of digital fabrication with forms that feel animated and tactile.
