The Cork stool is entirely crafted in France, showcasing multiple artisanal skills:
Plywood panel structure: The piece uses a tri-ply panel – a stable, durable, and aesthetically pleasing material.
The broken curve of the armchair’s front legs supports the weight of a person while maintaining a lightweight design.
The tri-ply material reinforces the verticality of the objects, creating a "skeleton" on the front face of the seats. The stool is constructed using the offcuts from the armchair’s base, ensuring minimal material waste. The stool’s seat is made from agglomerated cork reinforced with MDF. Cork is a unique natural material with exceptional properties: it is liquid-resistant, lightweight, rot-proof, insulating, stable, and eco-friendly. The production is exclusively French, with a low carbon footprint and minimal waste thanks to material recovery.
