Tim Leclabart

Biography

A self-taught designer, Tim Leclabart founded his studio in 2019 after working in art galleries, with antique dealers, and following a formative experience in Brazil. Drawing from the history of decorative arts and modernist architecture, he develops a sculptural language built on clean lines, geometric forms, and bold contrasts. He is based in Paris, France.

Each piece begins with a memory, a material, or an emotion, and reflects a strong commitment to sustainability: local production, recycled or repurposed materials, and close collaborations with French artisans. His work explores repetition, modularity, and uses color as a vibrant, narrative element.

His universe blends refinement with a poetic sense of play. Many of his objects shift in function, evoke characters, or invite interaction.

In 2022, his Fauteuil Canné joined the Mobilier National furniture collections.

In 2023, he received the Rising Talents Award from Maison & Objet.
