Elisa Bo, is a French artist born in 1990, who currently resides and works in the Netherlands. Graduated in applied arts from Olivier de Serre in Paris, her work predominantly revolves around texture and colour.
Elisa’s vision draws inspiration from time-worn surfaces and weathered walls, where plaster and earth naturally converge into abstract forms. Through her work, she explores the intricate beauty of imperfection. Elisa’s artistic process is both meticulous and intuitive. She layers lime plaster and pigments, blending, smearing, and scraping with various tools to reveal
hidden depths. The resulting surfaces are unexpected monochromes, born from the spontaneity of her process. Cracks and flaws disrupt the abstract landscape, offering glimpses into the layers beneath and inviting viewers to wonder at the allure of impermanence.
